Description: Livesy Rock is a bouldering and toprope area near Fairmont Park in Philadelphia.  The overhanging rock provides a unique opportunity to practice your roof pulling or traversing techniques.
Location: Approximately 30 minutes from Philadelphia near Wisahickon and Fairmont Parks.
Directions: From downtown Philadelphia, get on I-76 and get off on Lincoln Drive (exit 72).  Continue across river veer left at Lincoln Drive sign and head up the curvy road (+/- 1 mile).  Pass under the bridge and continue until you reach the first stop light - Rittenhouse Drive.  Make right at light and then make first left at next stop light - Wisahickon Avenue.  Continue on Wisahickon for maybe one mile, passing through several stoplights, until the end where you have to make a sharp right turn.  Immediately after turning right make a left onto Livsey Lane.  Continue down the winding road to the pullout on your left with the two storm manholes.  Park.  You risk getting a ticket, but the supposedly rarely ticket.  
Approach: From the parking area, walk along the path then the large storm sewer pipe to the rock.  Total approach time - 5 minutes.
